37Signal’s book, Getting Real, looks at web development projects from a fresh–and very interesting–perspective. This practical, no-nonsense guide to managing web application projects throws traditional project management conventions out the pie-in-the-sky-window, and replaces gantt charts with a “just get it done” philosophy. What I love about this book is that their simple, practical management philosophy can be applied to all areas of business. Not just for software developers, Getting Real is one of the best business management books I have read in a long while.
